one of my best days off ever...
i feel so blessed to be where i am right now. my host, jane is awesome. one of the best things about this ministry to me is the wonderful people the Lord crosses our paths with. and every so often, He crosses my path w/someone i just especially click with. there are very few hosts that i stay in touch with -- less than a handful. all are important even if its just for a short moment in time that you're with them, but sometimes you just have a special connection and you know the Lord's doing something really special w/both of you and through one another-- even if you can't quite pinpoint it at the time. anyway, i have many many wonderful friends back home and around the world-- and a handful of them are like soul sisters to me. they may not know everything about me (--who does aside from God--) but i feel that they know my heart, they know my spirit, they know what drives me and often share the same passions. (i won't single anyone out here. they probably know who they are.) anyway, i feel like jane's kinda like that. it's so weird how quickly you can connect with some people-- in just one day. it's equally crazy that you could spend a lifetime w/other people and never really connect w/them.
w/my host, it's really cool cuz she's also a musician/music teacher but her bigger passion where she finds more release as a musician is in worship music. but it's not just the connection on that level cuz i think alot of people could connect w/me on that level. it's also a shared passion for seeing people find freedom and healing and abundant life in Christ. it's things like taking a spontaneous trip to the beach and admiring all the rocks there and scaling cliffs to try to avoid getting totally soaked by the ever increasing waves. it's laughing our heads off because we find some of the signs posted at the beach so obvious it's ridiculous (like a sign posted by a sewage pipe to "avoid blocking the opening"!) it's being so consumed by the Lord's majesty and beauty as you're walking along cliffs as dusk sets in, that you don't really care that it's gettin' really cold and the wind's blowing like crazy. instead you say "Wow! the wind blowing is like the rush of the Holy Spirit!" And then you stay up til 1am watching two videos after you come home from the beach b/c you want more of God still so you watch two videos on incredible revivals throughout the world. i wanna see that so bad. i wanna see the Lord turn cities, nations, continents around.
yeah, it was a good day. we even had fish n chips while overlooking the beach on the cliffs and the weather was so nice i even went jogging in a sleeveless shirt! wow!!! and now it's past 4am so i'm already into a new day...

help me find my way home!!!
i've found amazing airfare going from london stansted airport to frankfurt hahn (not the most convenient airports but who can complain w/ryan air's amazing prices-- less than $28 including taxes)...but i'm having a bit of trouble finding my way back from england to l.a. anyone want to help in your copious amount of free time??? basically, i have to leave from england 15th june or possibly late night on the 14th. (bristol is best but london or cardiff airports are ok too), go back to l.a. to see everyone (yea!) and then get my butt back out to germany for training by the 29th of June. oh yeah, there's also the possibility of flying from stuttgart to LA on the 16th June but it just means having to prolong the agony of being in our van driving over from england to germany-- blech. not a fun trip.

in case you're wondering why there's a post missing...
i've probably committed a horrible blog-etiquette faux pas but i felt that it needed to be done-- at the very least, for the sake of my conscience. yes, you may have noticed that i've deleted my last entry. thanks for those of you who responded so um, passionately as well as compassionately about my blog (concerning an ex). i felt that i had to wipe it out though. it was bordering (if it had not already crossed over) the line of slandering, i think. and i know that i purposely did not mention any names but most of you could figure it out anyway. and if you have no idea what i'm talking about, don't worry. you're not really missing out on anything. if you feel you must (or should) know what i'm talking about, then just email me, ok? alright. that's done. oh. and if you happen to be the person the blog was concerning, and for some strange reason, you're reading this (or someone told you about it), please forgive me. i've forgiven you too. let bygones be bygones, huh?
