another late night...
these are pictures from a late night radio show we were guests on. we had a great time! last Sunday we were working with a Baptist church in Lublin, Poland. The pastor of the church also co-hosts a late night radio show on a Catholic radio station so he invited us to be his special guests. Pastor Randy is from America but he and his family moved to Poland about 8 years ago and they were so good to us. They really took care of us. He's my new hero. He doesn't just converse in Polish but he actually preaches in Polish and he's so good with people. He really sees their needs and just seems so at ease with people whether one-on-one or talking with a huge group. A very Godly man with a great sense of humor, too! That reminds of Victor Shen a bit! We need more Victors and Randys in this world!
i just realized i haven't blogged for like two months or something. that's crazy. Time and internet access have been slim the last two months. Soon, I'll be able to write more. In a few weeks I'll be flying back to LA for a two week break-- that is, if I ever get my ticket booked. since i haven't had much opportunity to use the internet, i haven't had much opportunity to do much research on airfare. i should have booked the first ticket i saw which later shot up 100 dollars more about two weeks later.
we're pretty ready for break. well, yes and no. i think we've got a bit of end-of-mission syndrome...kind of like "senioritis" your last year of highschool. while we love being here in poland, we miss family/friends and we also want a break from the heavy workload on tour. however, i'm not quite ready to end tour because 1) there's still more ministry awaiting us here and 2) my calendar for next tour is looking really bare right now. all i need is like two weeks of concentrated time to book up the calendar and it'll be well on its way. but i've been so up to my neck in planning and organizing and cramming things this tour, that i haven't been able to devote much time to booking shows for next mission. i actually miss it. kinda crazy. thank God jo's been working on it. she's a great gal. i'd be happy to mission with her again and i've told her so. we'll see...
