Greetings from Germany!
After a very short week and a half in sunny but extremely hot Los Angeles, I'm back in (hot but not as hot) Germany where all our Covenant Players teams missioning in Europe meet for summer training. I only have a few minutes at this moment but at some point I'll try to put up some pictures of highlights back home.

In one and a half weeks...
I'll be back in L.A.! I can't believe it. This tour's gone by so quickly. It's been so "charged" as the French put it. "Full" is how I prefer to see it. It's been an exceptional tour in many ways -- one aspect being the type of performances, events, and venues I've had the opportunity to perform in. ProChrist Poland takes the cake, no question. But other events like Pentecost (Weekend) Convention (where we had 3 intense days of children ministry) and more recently, performing in a huge tent and also the Basilica in Vezelay (France) for 1900 excited teenagers who were there for a pilgrimmage was pretty exceptional as well. And as I've gotten to know people here more (and have really tried to open myself up to the French more as well), I've actually grown to really appreciate the country of France, the people, and the ministry here. In the last two weeks, I've had the question "Do you like France?" thrown to me several times and now, I can say "Yes, I do" and I no longer have to skillfully maneuver around the question.
I'm anticipating that the end of mission will be a bit bittersweet. Although we're pretty ready for a break after such a -- full -- mission, I anticipate that this "bye" will be a bit more difficult. At the end of last mission, all three of us knew I'd probably come back with them. This time. we're pretty sure I'll be send with another team. Which unit that is, I have no idea. Well, I do have some ideas, but really, anything can happen.
There's are several other reasons I'll be sad to leave this area at the end of mission, but I'll leave it at that for now.
At least I have a lot to look forward to. This two week break is going to fly by fast, though.
