ahhh, thermal baths...
suffering for Jesus in Switzerland...
As you can probably guess, I wasn't really suffering much today. Today was our day off and it was a rare occasion where I actually went out and did something totally different. Our hosts offered to take us to a thermal bath -- kind of like an indoor and outdoor spa (-- but not so posh). It was really relaxing (albeit, a bit overcrowded). It's been a long time since I've spent a lot of time in the water and it was just really nice.
Our hosts, Susanne and Dominique and their daughter, Valentine are absolutely wonderful and everytime our units have stayed here, we've been so incredibly blessed -- not just by their generosity and hospitality, but morever, by the sheer testimony of who they are and the love of God that washes over you simply by being in their presence.
It was a nice change of pace from this past week of performing in schools Monday-Thursday (4-5 sessions per day). The performances went well and we had a great time (and our contacts have rebooked us for next year), but we were pretty exhausted by the end of it. A good kind of fatigue, though.
Speaking of fatigue, I should get to sleep. It'll be an early morning.
